You are now entering my world.... Good Luck

Wow…..

So this is my first blog entry.

I feel like I read so many blogs from other people that I have no clue as to where to begin. I have been sitting at my computer for what seems like a few days trying to put my thought to paper and I haven’t gotten very far.

So I guess I have to give the basics. My name is Scott, I am 30 years old and I live in Maryland. On June 12, 2004 I married to my best friend and soul mate, Lisa and we have been blessed with two beautiful and amazing children, Lex (3 years old) and Jack (8 months old). We have two cats Matty and Midnight and just recently Lex got a fish for his birthday which he named, Thomas.

I have been working at Comcast Spotlight since 2003 in the cable sales and advertising department. To sum up what I do at this job the best is basically I work with other people to make sure commercials are on television. I also work at the Hampton Inn @ White Marsh Maryland. I work behind their front desk and have been doing so since 2001. I tell myself every year I am going to call it quits but I get paid for 8 hours to be nice to people. How can I complain? By the way did I mention our lobby plays nothing but 80’s music…. Yeah you are so jealous of me right now.
I have been blessed with an amazing family and two good jobs.

Now that the introduction is over I have no idea what to write in the first blog.

I guess I can explain the “Skizzy” part of the blog. To be as simple about it as I can be Skizzy was my college nickname. It was given to me by my freshman room mate friend Mike Stokes. He tells the story that he was calling me Scotty all the time. He was over the dorm room one night and we were drinking and playing Madden when he got so drunk he couldn’t call me Scotty anymore and it came out Skizzy. To be honest Skizzy just stuck…. It was such a good nickname that when my fraternity brothers would look down the charter and see my name they had to think twice because they couldn’t remember my real name. I used to tell people I was okay with the alias of Skizzy because I could do anything I wanted and one day when I run for political office any bad thing I may have done can not be tied back to me.

Since I have left college the name has slowly disappeared from society. Which proves to me I am getting older and …. gulp…. growing up.

I don’t have any rhyme or reason to this blog but I will probably touch on anything and everything that is on my mind. I hope you enjoy reading it and I hope even more that I constantly update it.
